Fish Racing Distribution respects copyright. If you believe material on this site infringes a copyright you own or represent, tell us and we will act on it quickly.

Sending a takedown notice

Email fishracingdistribution@gmail.com with Copyright Notice in the subject line. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a notice needs to include substantially the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, as the owner of the right being infringed or someone authorized to act for them.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed. If several works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them.
  3. Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it. A direct link to the page is the fastest way.
  4. Your contact details: address, telephone number, and an email address.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the right.

Notices that leave out the items above may be slower to act on, because we may need to come back to you for them.

What happens next

We review every notice we receive. Where a complaint is properly made out we remove or disable access to the material promptly, and we let whoever supplied it know what happened and why.

If you think we got it wrong

If material you supplied was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter notice to the same address. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), a counter notice needs your signature, identification of the material and where it appeared before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your name, address and telephone number, together with your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district.

Repeat infringement

Accounts that repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others will be terminated.

Product photography and brand logos on this site are supplied by the manufacturers and distributors whose parts we sell, and are used to sell those parts. Brand names are used to identify the products they belong to. If you represent a brand and want a change to how your material appears here, email us at the address above and we will sort it out.
