Fitment tips
Fitment can come down to more than year, make and model. Sometimes the sub-model decides, so start with the fitment table below.
- Drive type. If your car is all-wheel drive, make sure the part is for all-wheel drive, not rear-wheel drive.
- Engine size. For engine parts, make sure the engine size on the product matches your engine.
- Transmission. Manual and automatic cars often take different parts.
- Body style. Sedan or hatch, two-door or four-door, cab and bed length on trucks.

The 2003-2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra redefined American muscle by delivering exotic acceleration at a working-class price. Nicknamed "Terminator," this model dominated the streets with its highly tunable factory supercharger, establishing a reputation for mechanical reliability under heavy boost.
Under the aluminum hood sits a hand-assembled 4.6-liter, 32-valve DOHC V8. Code-named the Terminator, this iron-block powerplant utilizes an Eaton M112 roots-type supercharger to generate a factory-rated 390 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque, sent through a forged steel crankshaft.
Power reaches the rear wheels via a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission. To handle this output, SVT equipped the chassis with a unique independent rear suspension featuring Bilstein dampers and stiffened spring rates. This setup yields improved high-speed stability and sharp cornering grip.
Ford produced 19,204 units across both model years, and clean examples remain sought after by collectors today. This model replaced the naturally aspirated 2001 Cobra and bridged the gap to the S197 platform, directly preceding the 2007 Shelby GT500 as the pinnacle of SVT engineering.
