Fitment tips
Fitment can come down to more than year, make and model. Sometimes the sub-model decides, so start with the fitment table below.
- Drive type. If your car is all-wheel drive, make sure the part is for all-wheel drive, not rear-wheel drive.
- Engine size. For engine parts, make sure the engine size on the product matches your engine.
- Transmission. Manual and automatic cars often take different parts.
- Body style. Sedan or hatch, two-door or four-door, cab and bed length on trucks.

The 2005-2006 Suzuki GSX-R1000 K5 redefined the open class by achieving a true one-to-one power-to-weight ratio in metric measurements. Weighing just 166 kg dry while producing 178 horsepower, it dominated global superbike racing and set a performance benchmark that defined the analog sportbike era.
Powering the K5 is the T713-designated 998.6cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine. Featuring a 73.4 mm bore and 59.0 mm stroke, it utilizes dual injectors per cylinder to generate 178 horsepower at 11,000 rpm and 87.5 lb-ft of torque at 9,000 rpm, managed by Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve technology.
The twin-spar aluminum frame is paired with a six-speed transmission and a back-torque limiting slipper clutch. Fully adjustable 43mm Showa inverted forks with DLC coating and a rear Showa shock manage the chassis, providing the high-speed stability and sharp turn-in required for track dominance.
Replacing the K3/K4 generation, the K5 was succeeded by the heavier, dual-exhaust K7 in 2007. Today, it stands as a highly coveted modern classic among collectors and track-day riders because it represents the pinnacle of analog liter-bikes before electronic rider aids and strict emissions laws.
