Under the scooped hood sits the Viper's all-aluminum, 90-degree 8.3-liter V10 engine. This naturally aspirated, 20-valve pushrod powerplant produces 500 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 525 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm, funneling immense output directly to the rear wheels with a signature growl.

Regular cabs feature a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and a Dana 60 rear axle. Bilstein monotube dampers, performance springs, and a rear sway bar lower the ride height. Riding on 22-inch wheels, this rear-wheel-drive setup delivers flat cornering and exceptional high-speed stability.
