The BMW M3 E46 represents the third generation of Munich’s iconic high-performance compact. Produced from October 2000 to August 2006, this model succeeded the E36 M3 and was eventually replaced by the V8-powered E90 generation. Available in coupe and convertible body styles, it refined the front-engine, rear-wheel-drive formula that defined its predecessors.

BMW built 85,766 units of the E46 M3 worldwide, split between 56,133 coupes and 29,633 convertibles.
