Fitment tips
Fitment can come down to more than year, make and model. Sometimes the sub-model decides, so start with the fitment table below.
- Drive type. If your car is all-wheel drive, make sure the part is for all-wheel drive, not rear-wheel drive.
- Engine size. For engine parts, make sure the engine size on the product matches your engine.
- Transmission. Manual and automatic cars often take different parts.
- Body style. Sedan or hatch, two-door or four-door, cab and bed length on trucks.

The 1999-2004 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning redefined performance trucks by claiming the Guinness World Record as the world's fastest production pickup at 147.4 mph. It dominated its era by delivering genuine sports-car acceleration and track-ready handling while retaining its utility as a functional hauler.
Under the hood sits a Triton 5.4-liter SOHC V8 engine, boosted by an Eaton M112 roots-type supercharger. In its post-2001 iteration, this cast-iron powerplant produces 380 horsepower at 4,750 rpm and a massive 450 pound-feet of torque at 3,250 rpm, routed through a water-to-air intercooler.
Power is managed by a heavy-duty 4R100 four-speed automatic transmission, sending drive to the rear wheels via a 9.75-inch axle with 3.73 gears. The lowered suspension features SVT-valved shocks and thick anti-roll bars, optimizing the chassis for flat, high-speed cornering and straight-line launches.
Ford produced 28,124 units of this generation, ensuring its status as a highly sought-after modern classic. It replaced the 1993-1995 first-generation Lightning and stood as Ford's premier street-performance truck until the SVT division pivoted toward off-road capability with the Raptor.
